Club History

St.Georges Cricket Club for people with disabilities was formed in the early 90’s The club has successfully competed in the Shropshire indoor winter league, and has developed a summer league, with the help and support of other disabled teams thought-out Shropshire and the surrounding counties.

The club have been instrumental in providing an abundance of players for the Shropshire county team for many years. Many of the players have gone onto represent their countries, a small minority have managed to make the transition to standard cricket, playing along side able-bodied players, and successfully participating at a high level within their clubs.
